Why tell the truth when a clever lie can help?

It takes courage to speak the truth. But it takes imagination , attitude and wit to come up with an alternative line of thought that makes the truth seem trite.
Clever lies...Isn't this , what the politicians have been telling for long? Indeed, in the final moments of election, the politicians seem to display greater agility of mind and intellectual brilliance than they ever do in office. We get the account of their work only during the elections.
If excuse brings out the best in us its because we have such long practice in creating them. We have been hard-wired to find innovative ways of sidestepping blame. Right from the tender age when we had to provide mumma with plausible reasons as to how that glass pale broke or at school when we played pun with reasons for unfinished homework and unlearnt formulae or at college for short attendance and giving the mid sems for mere fun ,we have had a good track record of escaping blame single-handedly and coming up with ambiguous excuses!
In the years since then , that part of the brain that forms excuses has been regularly exercised and toned.
Some people have it much easier. The municipal corporation's explanation for the state of our city roads stays unchanged year after year. The potholes , we are told, are caused by a phenomenon called 'monsoon' . A clever excuse indeed !
And why not come up with clever excuses when you have got  the wit to nail it ! When the needle of suspicion swings in a wide arc and comes to rest pointing in your direction , it is embarrassing to have nothing to say ! :D
But win , loose or tie , a good excuse will certainly help you add to the gaiety of life. When you are old enough , you could sit on a chair and remember those moments when you've given funny and intellectual reasons to save yourself from blames that hardly mattered !
All in all ,

Lets never have an excuse for not having an excuse! :D

These days love starts with..a FRIEND REQUEST !

I had been planning to write on this topic  for some time now. There have been absurd guys sending requests to me and other girls in an attempt to bump into their 'maybe future girlfriend' . Absurd guys as i said , have no scope of getting a girl's attention otherwise or even to get noticed in a crowd. So, social networking is their platform!Wear the veil of a stud and look cool when you are nothing more than a mug wort!
The boys who have been sending a myriad requests to unknown girls , this is for you :
Dude , Grow Up! every other girl you bump into knows you're fake & how much you may fantasize about making her your gf , she won't even ...ADD YOU! :p
But this blog isn't regarding the above point. It is about love or at least a hope for it.You like a girl/boy , send him a request. Have mutual friends , easier for him/her to add you.
he/she adds you.
Bingo!
Wait for them to turn up online for atleast 2hrs a day and if you don't have that much patience , inbox them !
Any random girl/guy you come across the first thing they do is 'make them friends ' , a proof that you have met before in life :p
Recently a friend of mine added her long time crush on a social networking site in a hope that they can talk further . But guys , it was all in vain.Nothing more could happen other than liking each other's status' or wall posts.
The reason is we still need ample time to spend with people and know them. Typing or texting your likes and dislikes is not the way to go!Another friend who liked a guy (or rather just found him cute) sent him a request.Though they had no mutual friends and did not converse ever , a party for the friend request acceptance did fall in my luck ;)

I wonder if it weren't for this , how would people have approached each other. whatever be the odds, you still stand a chance of being 'FRANDS' :p Most of the cases I came across ,couldn't be successful in finding anything more abut their crushes. Crushes after all are left crushes!
So next time don't wait for that eureka moment and don't be a silly chump.Say it on the face ! Exchanging a 'Hi' with that glowing smile on your face is worth a billion dollars more than that 'hey :)' in your texts. And yes , at least  you won't be called  creepy or a despo that way!And rejection can be accepted with a glee much easily than those hours you would spend waiting for your virtual love to revert back. And above all , one simple line is 'Get a LIFE' !
